Ianabi, Tukhvat
(pen name of Tukhvatulla Kalimullovich Kalimullin). Born Feb. 2 (14), 1894, in the village of Ianabi, in what is now Miiaki Raion, Bashkir ASSR; died 1939. Soviet Bashkir poet. Member of the CPSU from 1919. Ianabi was first published in the early 1920’s. He was the author of the collections The Joy of Labor (1926) and The Gift of Spring (1928) and of narrative poems about emancipated labor. He also published short stories and publicist works. In 1934, Ianabi became executive secretary of the administrative board of the Writers’ Union of the Bashkir ASSR. WORKSHaylanma äthärdhär.
