an urban-type settlement in Lipovets Raion, Vinnitsa Oblast, Ukrainian SSR. Turbov is located 25 km northeast of Vinnitsa on the Desna River, a tributary of the Iuzhnyi Bug. The city is a branch-line terminal of the Kazatin-Vinnitsa railroad line. Turbov has a sugar refinery, a machine-building plant, and factories producing glass and kaolin.
