world leader in computational fluid dynamics (CFD) software and services, today announces its partnership with Utah State University in a Department of Energy (DOE) Nuclear Energy Research Initiative (NERI) grant for the evaluation and improvement of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) turbulence modeling methods for simulating Generation IV nuclear power plant components. During the academic year 1993-94, Professor Cimbala took a sabbatical leave from the university, and worked at NASA Langley Research Center, where he advanced his knowledge of computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and turbulence modeling. SARA supports science and business with the processing of large-scale calculations and the visualization of complex data for fundamental and applied scientific research into, among other topics, bioinformatics, environmental research, climate modeling, computational fluid dynamics and turbulence modeling, chemistry, and physics. |
