Turka 

a city (since 1939) and administrative center of Turka Raion, L’vov Oblast, Ukrainian SSR. Turka is located 75 km southwest of Drogobych, in the Stryi River, a tributary of the Dniestr, and the Uzhgorod-L’vov highway. It has a railroad station on the Uzhgorod-L’vov line. Turka has a bread-baking combine and a cheese shop of the Staryi Sambor Cheese Plant. There is also a sawmill.


Turka 

an urban-type settlement in Pribaikal’skii Raion, Buriat ASSR. Turka is located on the eastern shore of Lake Baikal, in the estuary of the Turka River. It has a logging and timber distribution establishment. The health resort of Goriachinsk is located 9 km away from Turka.
