Two Rivers is closely associated with its twin city, Manitowoc Manitowoc , industrial city (1990 pop. 32,520), seat of Manitowoc co., E Wis., a port of entry on Lake Michigan at the mouth of the Manitowoc River; inc. 1870. Its shipbuilding industry dates from 1847; submarines were made there in World War II.
