type-in traffic

Web traffic that is generated by users typing a generic domain name directly into the browser's address line, rather than clicking on a result from a search engine. Web addresses (domain names) that are general in nature are highly desired, not only for Web sites that offer such products and services, but for Web sites that serve only ads to third-party products and services.

For example, typing "clothing.com" into the address field of a browser retrieves a Web page that acts as a clothing portal containing links to dozens of online clothing sites. Typing "clothing" into Google retrieves more than 300 million results pages. See domain parking.

Generic Domain Names are typically valued very highly, as they address broad market focus, can help to drive natural search engine traffic and the character set in most cases is short, which can also add value to type in traffic and/or resale value in the future.
We have a multi tiered revenue model that incorporates: deriving type in traffic to our domains that converts to pay per click revenue, reselling raw (undeveloped) and finished (with content) domains or web sites at a high multiplier, selling leads to manufacturers in distinct vertical markets and working closely with clients and publishers to design and manage online advertising campaigns.
com, we significantly increase our vast amount of qualified leads coming from natural, type in traffic and natural search engine traffic, and, by the inherent nature of owning and being both generic URL's, have positioned ourselves to consumers and businesses as the most credible place and brand to go to for credit cards online," continued Zapolin.
