an urban-type settlement in Krasnovodsk Oblast, Turkmen SSR, under the jurisdiction of the Krasnovodsk city soviet. Located on Krasnovodsk Gulf of the Caspian Sea, Ufra is 8 km from the city of Krasnovodsk. The settlement is Krasnovodsk’s petroleum port.
