Ultra HD

Ultra HD
(1) A super high-resolution TV standard developed by Nippon Telegraph and Telephone (NTT) and Japanese Broadcasting Corporation (NHK). Its 7680x4320 resolution displays more than 16 times as many pixels as the highest U.S. HDTV standard of 1980x1080. Ultra HD is expected to be commercially available by 2020.
