Underhill State Park Location: On the headwaters of Brown's River, on the west slope of Mount Mansfield. Facilities: 26 campsites (15 with lean-tos), group camp, flush toilets, picnic areas, picnic shelter, hiking trails. Activities: Camping, hiking. Special Features: Park's elevation and exposure to harsh climate conditions have resulted in the growth of low, stunted plants along the mountain's ridge that are rare in New England and more typical of plant types found on the Arctic tundra 1,000 miles to the north.
