Finally, the relationship of MARC standards to the evolving Uniform Resource Identifiers and related standards are discussed. Blake Hartstein of the Demarc Threat Research team discovered the flaw which allows all Uniform Resource Identifier (URI) content rules to be bypassed by adding a carriage return to the end of the URL being requested (before the HTTP protocol declaration). FiberNet's Phonomenum technology platform supports all major VoIP gateways and protocols by utilizing a carrier-grade, electronic mapping number (ENUM) registry, which uses the domain name system to map telephone numbers to web addresses or uniform resource identifiers (URIs). |
