Few programs have proven more successful than the NJ Commerce & Economic Growth Commission's nationally acclaimed Urban Enterprise Zone (UEZ) Program.
A study of the New Jersey EZ program concluded that "the urban enterprise zone (UEZ) is a cost-effective economic development tool, leveraging almost $2 in state and local taxes for every $1 forgone in state tax revenues.
Additionally, the company has received modest private passenger automobile rate increases, reduced assigned Urban Enterprise Zone (UEZ) business through increased voluntary writings, which have lower loss ratios, and adjusted its tier rating plan and territorial relativities.
