Uspallata 

(1) A pass through the Cordillera de los Andes on the border of Chile and Argentina, from the valley of the Juncal River of the Aconcagua River basin to the valley of the Arroyo Cuevas of the Mendoza River basin. The pass, which is also known as La Cumbre, has elevations up to 3,832 m. A tunnel for the Valparaiso-Mendoza Transandine Railroad was built under the pass at an elevation of 3,167 m.

(2) A section of the southern Andes in Argentina. The full name of the range is the Sierra de los Paramillos of the Cordillera Frontal. The range has maximum elevations of approximately 3,500 m.
