Texas Cooperative Extension at Texas A&M University will lead a team that includes four other universities: Washington State University, Utah State University, University of California at Davis, and New Mexico State University. In 2002 and 2003, we conducted a similar survey at Utah State University (USU). Utah State University attorney Craig Simper on March 28 concluded that the state's recently approved constitutional ban on same-sex marriage likely prohibits extending the school's medical benefits to employees' same-sex domestic partners. |
