VHDCI

VHDCI
(Very High Density Cable Interconnect) A standard 68-pin interface for connecting UltraSCSI and other peripheral devices. It is highly miniaturized and uses a similar flat leaf-style pin like the Centronics connector. Up to four VHDCI sockets can be placed on the outside face of a plug-in card.

Also available is the dual U320 SCSI host model, featuring two dual-stacked VHDCI connectors on the rear of the subsystem, which can be used for host connection and cascading to additional RAID units.
Centronics and VHDCI connectors do not have pins, however the 50-and 68-pin high-density connectors have pins that are quite susceptible to damage.
