Special attention is given to the impact of the variogram estimation approach on the interpolation performance.
A variogram can be used to test whether spatial correlation exists, both along-line and across-line.
Distance-based variograms (both isotropic or anisotropic) were reviewed for the final [delta]'s and we found no sigffificant spatial correlation as a function of distance between pots.
