| Objectives: Peripheral vascular disease (PVD) is underdiagnosed in primary care due to the absence of established criteria to warrant diagnostic testing. The grant work will study adipose-derived regenerative cells in preclinical vascular disease models. In up to 75% of patients with ESRD, peripheral vascular disease will develop, requiring operative intervention in potentially 200,000 cases per year. |
