Vespertilio

Vespertilio 

a genus of bats. The upper part is of two colors; light-tipped hairs are set against a dark background. Members of this genus measure 5.5–7.5 cm long. There are two species. The frosted bat (Vespertilio murinus) is found in almost all parts of Europe, Middle Asia, and Southern Siberia. The species V. superans is distributed in East Asia.
