Denoncourt's Via crucis explores a boy's imaginative interpretation of the Catholic iconic representation of the crucifixion and ascension of Christ. CSUN history professors will introduce a lecture by Norman Neuerburg, professor emeritus at California State University, Dominguez Hills, who will discuss ``The Indian Via Crucis From San Fernando. In Chicago's largely Hispanic Pilsen neighborhood, some 7,000 people gather at Providence of God Parish for the beginning of the Via Crucis or "Way of the Cross" every Good Friday. |
