Vibration Platform

Vibration Platform

a vibration machine designed for packing a concrete mixture during the production of concrete and reinforced-concrete items such as blocks, slabs, wall panels, multicavity floors, elements of suspended spans, and so on in factories or in the field. According to the type of oscillations, a distinction is made among circularly, vertically, or horizontally vibrating platforms or impact platforms; according to their structure, a distinction is made between frame and block types. The oscillations are transmitted from the vibration platform to a form mounted on it, which contains the concrete mixture being packed. This form is mounted to a vibration platform by electromagnetic, pneumatic, hydraulic, or mechanical clamps.

We opted for WBV device that produced vertical oscillation with a higher frequency (ie > 30 Hz and low amplitude < 1 mm) as previous works that studied the neuromuscular mechanism and produced mixed findings are all using the side to side alternating vibration platform with a WBV frequency ranged from 22-30 Hz and amplitude of 4-6 mm (Rittweger et al.
The patient was seated on a high chair and the forepart of both feet were placed on the proximal edge of the vibration platform, in this position, the entire body was exposed to vibration but the majority was focused on the feet and lower legs (Figure 1).
The AW139 FFS for Horizon and ADA will feature the CAE True six degree-of-freedom (DOF) electric motion system as well as high-performance vibration platform to replicate vibration cues critical to helicopter pilots and extensive input from AgustaWestland to ensure full compatibility with the aircraft configuration.
