Vihorlat
a mountain massif in the northern volcanic region of the Eastern Carpathians in Czechoslovakia and partly in the USSR. Elevations, to 1,076 m. Composed mainly of andesites. It has clearly defined, rocky crests. There are broad-leaved forests. Numerous rivers—tributaries of the Bodrog (Tisa basin)—flow from Vihorlat. Want to thank TFD for its existence?
