Villanova University

Villanova University (vĭl'ənō`və), at Villanova, Pa., near Philadelphia; Roman Catholic; est. 1842 as a men's school, coeducational since 1967. It has schools of arts and sciences, engineering, commerce and finance, nursing, law, and graduate studies. Among its publications are Augustinian Studies, South Asian and Middle Eastern Studies, The Theology Institute Proceedings, and Villanova Law Review.
