Vinzenz Lausmann Memorial State Natural Area Location: Off I-84, 7 miles west of Hood River. Facilities: Restrooms, trail. Activities: Hiking. Special Features: Lined with fir, alder and maple, which define the Columbia River Gorge in this area, park trail offers spectacular views of the gorge. Vinzenz Lausmann is one of three state parks joined together at Mitchell Point; the other two are Seneca Fouts Memorial State Natural Area and Wygant State Natural Area (see separate entries).
