Vista indexing

Windows Vista includes a desktop search capability that indexes all e-mail and offline files and all files in the user's Documents, Pictures, Music and Videos folders. In order to search for text within a file, it must be indexed. If you want to search for text in files in other than the default folders, you have to add the folders to the index list by selecting Modify in the Indexing Options control panel.
