Vitchyzna 

(Fatherland), a monthly literary, artistic, and sociopolitical journal. The organ of the Writers’ Union of the Ukraine.

Vitchyzna is published in Ukrainian in Kiev. Beginning in 1933 it was published under the title Radians’ka literatura, beginning in the second half of 1941 under the title Ukrains’ka literatura, and since January 1946 under its present title. The journal devotes much attention to the education of young people interested in literature. Circulation in 1970 was 23,000.
