With a zone occurrence about three kilometres long and a kilometre wide; the rocks being targeted are considered to be a very rare find of xenolith-bearing lamprophyre occurring in a volcanic breccia. Fifteen HQ diamond core holes are planned for Phase I, targeting several zones with sheeted quartz veins and stock-work vein swarms hosted in a Jurassic age volcanic breccia. Outcroppings of hydrothermally altered volcanic breccia exhibit strong silicification and hypogene clay alteration with abundant limonite. |
