Voprosy Ekonomiki

 

(Problems of Economics), a scholarly journal of the Institute of Economics of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR. Published monthly in Moscow beginning in March 1948. Editor in chief, T. S. Khachaturov (since 1965).

Voprosy ekonomiki deals with problems in the political economy of socialism and with the economics of the national economy of the USSR and other countries of the world’s socialist system, carries articles on the history of economic thought and articles critically reviewing bourgeois and revisionist economic theories, and provides information on current economic literature and research activities in economic institutes, as well as publishing articles on political economy as a contribution to Party educational programs. The journal regularly carries on discussions relating to various economic problems. Circulation (1971), 58,000 copies.
