a city in Czechoslovakia, in the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic, in the province of North Moravia. Population, 21,000 (1966). Vsetin is an important transport junction. It has heavy machine-building, electrical-equipment, wood-processing (such as furniture), and glass industries.
