(vul-pek -yŭ-lă) (Fox) A constellation in the northern hemisphere near Cygnus, lying in the Milky Way, the brightest stars being of 4th magnitude. It contains the Dumbbell nebula. Abbrev.: Vul; genitive form: Vulpeculae; approx. position: RA 20h, dec +25°; area: 268 sq deg.
