(Windows Media Video High Definition) The high-definition option in the VC-1 codec, which was originally Microsoft's Windows Media Video (WMV) Version 9 specification. VC-1 Main Profile @ High Level supports 720p and 1080p resolutions for viewing wide screen TV on a computer. See WMV and VC-1.
