Ward, Maisie

Ward, Maisie (1889–1975) religious publisher, author; born in England. Descended from prominent English Catholics, she married Frank Sheed in 1926 and with him founded the Catholic publishing company, Sheed & Ward. From 1940 they lived in the U.S.A., where a branch was established. Her own works include a biography of G. K. Chesterton.
