Ware, William R. (Robert) (1832–1915) educator, architect; born in Cambridge, Mass. He founded and directed architectural programs at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (1865–81) and Columbia University (1881–1903) and practiced (1863–81) with Henry Van Brunt (1832–1903).
