Warehouse BOSS

(Warehouse Balanced Operations and Storage System) An earlier logistics and warehouse management system from SSA Global, Chicago (www.ssaglobal.com) for the AS/400. It was originally developed by Pansophic Systems and spent time as both a Computer Associates and Acacia Technologies product via acquisitions. The remnants of the BOSS system reside in Infor's supply chain management software, the company that acquired SSA Global in 2006. See Acacia.
