Watcom compilers

A family of C, C++ and FORTRAN compilers for PCs from Sybase Waterloo, a division of Sybase. Originally produced by Watcom International Corporation, Waterloo, Ontario, Watcom compilers have been noted for generating fast, compact code. WATCOM C/386 was the first 32-bit compiler for extended DOS, Windows, OS/2 2.0 and AutoCAD ADS and ADI applications. Watcom was acquired by Powersoft, which was later acquired by Sybase.
