Watt's Dyke

Watt's Dyke: see Offa's Dyke Offa's Dyke, ancient entrenchment of W England and E Wales, from the Dee estuary to near the estuary of the Wye River. It was built in the 8th cent. by Offa, king of Mercia, as a barrier against the Welsh and lies mainly along the England-Wales boundary.

Teachers at Watt's Dyke Infant School, Mynydd Isa, near Mold, thought the painting was so good they sent it to Prince Charles, and invited him to pop in for tea and cakes.
An interim order was made by Wrexham magistrates on May 12 pending a full hearing but on June 30 he was seen swinging from a climbing frame at Watt's Dyke Park at Mynydd I sa near Mold, about 15 minutes before children were due to leave a primary school.
Edwards, of Watt's Dyke, The Strand, Holywell, admitted five criminal damage charges and sentence was adjourned for reports.
