The year 2003 ushered in revisions of the two intelligence scales most commonly used in determinations of giftedness--the Stanford-Binet (Roid, 2003) and the Wechsler Scales (Wechsler, 2003). Like those from the Wechsler scales, standard scores from the BSID-II have a mean of 100 and standard deviation of 15. Harcourt's Wechsler scales are the world's most widely used tests of intellectual ability and are licensed for publication in more than 30 countries. |
