(anatomy)
The duct of the submandibular gland which empties into the mouth on the side of the frenulum of the tongue.

Egress of saliva from Wharton's ducts was normal, and findings on a regional examination were unremarkable.
The cyst was excised via a midline vertical incision at the ventral aspect of the tongue; both Wharton's ducts were preserved.
CT revealed the presence of bilateral multiple calculi along the floor of mouth, dilated Wharton's ducts proximal to the calculi, and enlarged submandibular glands with dilated ducts within the glands (figure 1).
