White Lake State Park


Location:On NH Route 16, 20 miles south of North Conway.
Facilities:200 tent sites, showers, flush toilets, camp store, canoe rentals, picnic area, group shelter, trails, beach, canoe rentals.
Activities:Camping (including organized youth group camping), boating (with restrictions), fishing, swimming, hiking, canoeing, winter use.
Special Features:Park's campground is well-located to serve as a base for a number of area activities -- the Kancamagus National Scenic Byway, White Mountain National Forest hiking trails, and North Conway's tax-free shopping outlets are all within 20 minutes of the campground. In addition, a walking trail in the park leads to a 72-acre stand of pitch pines that has been designated a National Natural Landmark.
