White Oak Lake State Park Location: From I-30 at Prescott, 20 miles east on AR 24, then 2 miles southeast on AR 387. Facilities: 41 campsites with electric and water hookups, 4 tent sites, bathhouse, restrooms, picnic areas, pavilion, hiking trails, marina with boat rentals, boat ramp, fishing pier, playground, store, visitor center with exhibits and bicycle rentals (é). Activities: Camping, fishing, boating, hiking, bird watching, interpretive programs. Special Features: Park is adjacent to Poison Spring State Forest on the shore of 2,765-acre White Oak Lake. The park has an abundance of wildlife, with regular sightings of great blue heron, green heron, egret, and osprey, and, in winter, bald eagles.
