Wilson, (Lewis Robert) “Hack” (1900–48) baseball player; born in Elwood City, Pa. During his 12-year career as an outfielder (1923–34), mostly with the Chicago Cubs, he hit 56 home runs and batted in the major league record 190 runs in 1930.
