Win Start & stop

Windows automatically loads when you start the computer. To end your Windows session, save all the data in your active windows and select Shut Down from the Start menu. Computers with the appropriate power management capability will shut off automatically. All others must be manually turned off, but not until the message "It is now safe to turn off your computer." When you turn the computer back on, your screen (desktop) will appear the way you left it.
