Windows keyboard A 104-key keyboard that is the de facto standard keyboard included with new PCs and also sold separately. A variant of the 101-key Enhanced keyboard from IBM, the Windows keyboard was introduced by Microsoft to enable shortcuts for common Windows functions. Two "Windows" keys (with the Windows logo) were added on each side of the space bar (see Windows key).A third "Menu" key was included as an alternative to right clicking the mouse. Also called the "Context Menu" key, it is identified with the symbol of a menu and pointer (see Menu key). See PC keyboards.
