Windows SDK

(1) A set of development utilities and programming interfaces for writing Windows applications in C or C++. It provides tools for creating custom cursors, fonts and icons, bitmaps, menus and online help.

(2) A set of programming interfaces for Windows applications to link to. There are countless third-party extensions to Windows that add a myriad of functionality.
