Windows 98

A major upgrade to Windows 95. Introduced in June 1998, it included numerous bug fixes, performance enhancements and support for more hardware, including the Universal Serial Bus (USB). It added support for two monitors, which helps developers working in one resolution and testing in another. Windows 98 tightly integrated Microsoft's Internet Explorer Web browser into the desktop. Windows 98 was followed logically by Windows ME but chronologically by Windows 2000 Professional Edition.

The USB supports Windows98, 2000, and XP, with its memory size of 64/128/256/512MB available.
0 and Windows98 do not exhibit a date rollover problem.
If there's no return on investment in upgrading to Windows98 - and if you're doing it only because it has an embedded browser, which is about all it has - that's an $80 to $100 purchase for nothing.
