Windows 98A major upgrade to Windows 95. Introduced in June 1998, it included numerous bug fixes, performance enhancements and support for more hardware, including the Universal Serial Bus (USB). It added support for two monitors, which helps developers working in one resolution and testing in another. Windows 98 tightly integrated Microsoft's Internet Explorer Web browser into the desktop.
