Wood, Bryce

Wood, Bryce (1909–86) political scientist; born in Everett, Wash. He promoted research on Latin America as executive associate of the Social Science Research Council (1949–73) while himself writing such influential works on American foreign policy and international relations as The United States and Latin American Wars, 1932–1942 (1966) and two studies of the Good Neighbor policy (1966, 1985).
