Xbox
A very popular video game console from Microsoft. Introduced in 2001 with a Pentium III CPU, 5x DVD, 20GB hard disk and custom graphics processor, the Xbox was designed to compete with Sony's PlayStation and Nintendo's GameCube. It includes game controller ports, Ethernet networking and Internet connectivity.

Xbox 360
Introduced in late 2005, the Xbox 360 dramatically increased gaming power with a three-core 64-bit PowerPC CPU from IBM, each core running at 3.2 GHz. Its ATI graphics card quadrupled rendering speed, and Wi-Fi was added. An HD DVD drive was an option, but when Blu-ray obsoleted HD DVD, an Xbox Blu-ray drive was not offered as a substitute. In 2007, the case was changed from white to black, and HDTV connectors, Wi-Fi and 120GB hard disk were added. The drive was later increased to 250GB.

Xbox Live
Xbox Live is a multiplayer gaming service available to Xbox players for a subscription fee. Introduced in 2002, numerous Xbox games are Xbox Live enabled.

Xbox Kinect - No More Controller!
Introduced in 2010, the Kinect option provides controller-free interaction with the Xbox, creating an amazing gaming experience (see Kinect). See video game console and MMOG.
