(CH3)2C6H3OH Highly toxic, combustible crystals; slightly soluble in water, soluble in most organic solvents; melts at 20-76°C; used as a chemical intermediate, disinfectant, solvent, and fungicide, and for pharmaceuticals and dyestuffs.
