Yahoo! Broadcast

The former Webcasting division of Yahoo! that broadcast live and archived TV and radio shows as well as on-demand movies, sports and other audio and video material. It also offered organizations Webcasting for private meetings such as conferences and distance learning. Originally the broadcast.com Web site founded by Mark Cuban and Todd Wagner in 1995, that company was acquired by Yahoo! in 1999. In 2003, Yahoo! Broadcast was superseded by Yahoo! Platinum, a paid subscription service that offers entertainment content via dial-up and also broadband in the form of SBC Yahoo! DSL. For more information, visit http://platinum.yahoo.com.
