Youghiogheny RiverRiver in northeastern West Virginia, northwestern Maryland, and southwestern Pennsylvania, U.S. It rises in West Virginia, near the western edge of Maryland, and flows north through northwestern Maryland into Pennsylvania to enter the Monongahela River at McKeesport after a course of 135 mi (217 km).
