Yverdon-les-Bains (ēvĕrdôN`-lā-bĕN`), Ger. Iferten, town (1990 pop. 22,758), Vaud canton, W Switzerland, at the south end of the Lake of Neuchâtel. It is an old spa with Roman ruins.
