Zatoka

 

an urban-type settlement in Odessa Oblast, Ukrainian SSR, on the bank of the Dnestr Estuary and the Black Sea; the Bugaz port station is there. Zatoka has a railway station (Bugaz) on the Odessa-Izmail line. It is one of the health resorts of the Odessa group; a sanatorium for children with bone and joint tuberculosis is there, as is the Zolotye Peski boarding house.
